Hi. my name is Wanda De La Rosa and this is our story!

We moved from NY to Orlando in 2000. We met Cecile shortly after we arrived,

and it was a dream made in heaven. She became my daughter Ashley's teacher

and mentor. Ashley had vocal lessons with Cecile every Saturday for the next

several years. Cecile's technique and passion for music helped Ashley evolve

and reach the level of professionalism that she has today.

Since January 2006, Ashley has been attending the John Robert Powers School.

The JRP schools around the country participate in a convention that is held

twice every year. This convention, called IPOP (International Presentation

of Young Perfomers), is held in Los Angeles and in New York. In order to

attend the IPOP convention, you have had to attend the JRP School for at

least 8 months, and you have to be a strong competitor. Ashley had an

audition for singing and as a result of her training & vocal lessons with

Cecile, Ashley had the opportunity to attend IPOP. Cecile's dedication and hard

work have led to Ashley's current success! She won "Singer of the Year

2006" in her division at IPOP. She received 9 call backs in NY, and since

then she has sent her demo to 5 companies in the music business. The 4+

years of training with Cecile have paid off. While Ashley is a very talented

young lady, we know how much we owe to Cecile for her growth and progress.

Cecile is a wonderful teacher. She embodies all the very best qualities a

teacher should aspire to have: dedication, love for her subject, and ability

to convey both her skill and passion to her student. She expects her

students to give their all and won't settle for less. She is tough but

caring. My daughter and I - in truth, our whole family - are very fortunate

to have Cecile in our lives. Cecile will always be part of our family.

Thank you Cecile for your love, support and dedication!

All my love!
