Cecile Larochelle, of LaRochelle Vocal Studios in Vancouver, is a certified Speech Level Singing teacher. Check out Seth Riggs to find out more about this revolutionary vocal technique! With more than 25 years experience as a successful performing artist, songwriter and vocal producer, Cecile is a singer whose path crosses the streams of jazz, R & B, pop, blues and gospel and musical theatre. Based on this life experience, she has developed a passion for, and commitment to, communicating this perfect vocal technique to other aspiring vocalists/actors or voice-over artists.

Cecile studied music, theatre and voice at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, studied music theory, composition and voice at the University of Texas at El Paso, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.

She has appeared on television and stage as both an actress and singer in Canada and the United States. She has worked with Sheena Easton, Jon Bon Jovi, Long John Baldry, John Denver, Sesame Street... AND has penned, recorded and produced numerous albums including her own gospel and children's albums.

Cecile opened her first vocal studio in Orlando, Florida and became a prominent vocal coach to Disney and Universal Studios singers, as well as numerous boy/girl groups aspiring to be stars in the Orlando magical arena of star makers: (i.e. Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Brittany Spears).

Cecile continues her professional development as an SLS instructor through ongoing study, master classes, seminars in Los Angeles, and annual testing in the Speech Level Singing technique. She also studies privately with Level 5 teachers like Wendy Parr in New York, Michael Goodrich in Los Angeles, and Greg Enriquez In Las Vegas.

She recently opened LaRochelle Vocal Studios in Vancouver where she pursues her passionate love of teaching the art and heart of singing.

Cecile can be heard in and around Vancouver, singing with The Gospel Infuzion, a tight, sparkling Gospel quartet that brings the audience to its feet every performance!
